The Cowpens Fire Department has once again had to answer calls at the former Cowpens Cotton Mill due to some recent fires. Please visit the News Page to read the entire story.


Two Historic Photos of the former Cowpens Fire Department Engine 2 and the towns first motorized fire apparatus was discovered in recent days. Engine 2 was a 1962 GMC Fire Power Fire Engine. Those pictured in the photo are from left to right: Chief Lester Bolton, Jack Reynolds, Leroy Bolton, John Moss, Geddes Swofford, and Asst. Chief Ernest Thomason Jr. Information concerning the first motorized apparatus is not available.
